Rob Gronkowski Has Surgery

The NFL and Orthopedic Surgeons go hand in hand.  Most of the injuries that occur on the field (besides the concussions) end up getting treated by an Orthopedic Surgeon of some kind (the most prominent being Dr. James Andrews who has become world-famous for his work with professional athletes in all sports.)

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is no different.  Gronk broke his arm on the last play of the Patriots game against the Indianapolis Colts two weeks ago, and went to see several different Orthopedic Surgeons over the next few days to online casino see what could be online casino australia done about it (i.e. if he could play through it or if he needed surgery right away.)  Dr. Thomas Gill ended up being responsible for treating Gronkowski, both setting the arm as well as inserting the plate to stabilize it.  He”s expected to miss 4-6 weeks but, given his freakish rate of healing thus far in his career, it would surprise no one if even 4 weeks was a fairly conservative estimate.
